From walking 10 kilometres to shaving their heads, these insurance specialists proved that they care for those who are in need.

Employees of insurance law firm Horwich Farrelly recently participated in four separate charitable events and raised more than £2,600 for various organisations.

On September 29, over a dozen people from the company’s head office joined the 10-kilometre Manchester Legal Walk and raised £162, which will be used to provide legal advice to those who cannot afford it.

The next day, all of the firm’s offices participated in the Macmillan Coffee Morning, a nationwide event aimed at helping cancer victims. Horwich Farrelly employees baked some cakes and other goodies and raised £1,062.

Later that day, employees from the insurance law firm’s Manchester, Sheffield and Liverpool offices took part in the Brave the Shave for the Cancer Charity and raised £1,260. The initiative sought to encourage people to shave their heads and stand with cancer victims experiencing hair loss.

On October 1, Horwich Farrelly workers joined the local Alzheimer’s Society Memory Walk and raised £162. The event was aimed at celebrating those affected by dementia.
