The newly rebranded Ed, formerly Cooper Gay, has certainly been hitting the headlines a lot recently.
Just two weeks have passed since its rebranding, which CEO Steve Hearn talked to Insurance Business about in this
exclusive article, and now the company has made a crucial new appointment with the arrival of Graham Roberts as the head of its newly launched accident and health division.
Roberts will take up the role in December and brings with him 26 years of experience. He joins from Willis Towers Watson/Miller and served as divisional director for more than five years.
Ed’s CEO of specialty Chris Bonard believes the appointment is a statement of intent from the global reinsurance, wholesale and specialty broker.
“Graham is the latest in a series of high calibre market leaders who have been attracted to the Ed team and his appointment offers a glimpse of the scale of our ambitions,” he said.
“We are bringing together the best in the market. The accident and health sector is primed for a new approach in which clients are provided with the best solution for them regardless of location. I am very pleased to welcome Graham to Ed and I am certain that our new A&H offering will swiftly set itself apart under his expert leadership.”
