One of the UK’s largest legal expenses insurance providers has made a significant new appointment today with the arrival of Enrique Gomez (pictured) in the role of head of ATE insurance.
Gomez, who will take over the role immediately, will be based in London and will report to managing director of insurance in the UK and Ireland, James
Henderson.
“The legal market is in a constant state of flux and it is imperative that ATE providers also change and adapt,” Henderson explained.

“After conducting a thorough search for this position, we believe bringing in experience and talent from outside the ATE market to drive this change will enable us to remain dynamic and flexible in our approach to deliver innovative solutions for our customers, now and in the future.
“ATE insurance is a key part of the DAS UK Group’s activities and this appointment is a clear statement of our long term commitment to the ATE market.”
Gomez has over 15 years’ experience within insurance, and holds a BSc Engineering in Business & Finance. He joins DAS from
RSA where was director of SME deals. Prior to this he held a number of leadership roles at
RSA, including business manager of SME volume brokers, strategy manager of global speciality lines and global network manager.
