Legal expenses insurer DAS Group has appointed former
RSA executive David Swigciski as the company’s new head of corporate for the UK.
In his new role, Swigciski will be responsible for driving growth and for helping the business realise its development plan.
Based in Bristol, Swigciski will report to James
Henderson, the managing director of insurance.
“I am delighted to welcome David to the team as we continue to invest in talent and capability to drive the DAS UK & Ireland business forward,” Henderson said.
“His skills and extensive experience in the industry, and in particular his knowledge of the SME market, will be hugely valuable to us,” he added.
Swigciski has more than 12 years of experience in the insurance industry, joining from RSA where he held numerous roles including inspection, marine, construction and engineering.
Most recently, Swigciski served as RSA’s trading director of UK SME. He was responsible for the insurer’s e-traded commercial motor, property and liability business.
Before working at RSA, Swigciski spent 14 years in the Royal Navy and was in command of a mine countermeasures vessel.
