The international arm of health insurance giant Bupa has launched a new range of international private medical insurance (IPMI) products for UK businesses.
Bupa Global said its new Business Health Plan range is designed for companies that need to offer premium international cover for specific areas of their workforce or those who need a richer offering for key employees.
Called Business Select, Business Premier, Business Elite and Business Ultimate, the new products provide employees with round-the-clock cover anywhere in the world.
The products’ benefits include in-hospital care, evacuation, transplants and rehabilitation, and treatment for cancer and other serious illnesses, hereditary, congenital and chronic conditions.
“The demands of both companies and their employees are changing as businesses are becoming more global and their employees are travelling more often,” said Bupa Global managing director Sheldon Kenton.
“We also know that no two businesses are the same and some need a richer offering for key employees,” Kenton added. “That is why we worked closely with our customers to develop this new range of products and ensure that they meet the needs of globally mobile and globally minded businesses.”
