Lincoln based property lettings and insurance firm Barbon Insurance has announced that it will make staff cuts as it undertakes employee reorganization.
According to a report at the
Lincoln Nite, the company is in talks with staff, and consultations will be concluded next month.
However, it said that only a “small number” of staff will be affected, while others will be redeployed to other offices. It did not divulge the exact number of staff cuts when contacted for further details.
“We are fortunate to be a growing business in a growing market but in order to remain in that position we will always want to fine tune our organisation to stay ahead,” a spokesperson for the company told the publication. “Occasionally that results in some organisation changes including identifying roles we may no longer need and creating new roles we don’t currently have.”
“This is the proposal we are currently consulting on with a relatively small number of affected staff. We hope to be able to redeploy some staff who are affected but cannot, at this stage, predict the outcome of the consultation process which is unlikely to conclude before mid-December,” the spokesperson added.
