Former Marsh executive Tracy Harrington Cloud has been appointed as senior vice president for international distribution and broker management of AXIS Insurance, the global firm announced.
Cloud’s role will reflect the company’s client-centric focus as he will help enhance distribution management services and offerings across the insurer’s global network of offices.
Based in London, Cloud will report to AXIS executive vice president Terry Wood and will work with Ed Ashby, executive vice president and global head of distribution.
“Tracy will play an instrumental role in helping to enhance our efforts and further empower our team to provide the highest level of service to our clients,” Ashby said.
“Adding someone with Tracy’s experience and capabilities directly reflects our commitment to advancing our global distribution strategy,” he added.
Cloud has nearly three decades of industry experience, including eight years as a senior executive at Marsh where she helped make the function providing strategic services to global insurers.
“In her previous role at Marsh, Tracy was the dedicated relationship manager for AXIS, which gives her a strong understanding of our business and positions her to help shape our future strategy,” Wood said.
Cloud also served as client relationship manager at
QBE insurance within its corporate division. She also held senior broking roles at Cooper Gay,
Aon Re and Swire Fraser in the UK and North American reinsurance markets.
