Lloyd’s third-party managing agent Asta has promoted Peter Brightman to the role of head of syndicate finance.
Announcing the latest appointment, Asta said Brightman has proven himself as a valuable asset to the company and has been instrumental in consistently providing better services to clients.
Brightman, who joined Asta in 2009, has also represented Asta in several market events and has built strong connections, the company said.

Brightman is succeeding Anthony Gordon who is retiring from the financial industry after 14 years at Asta during which he helped developed its finance function and client relationships.
“Peter is a very able and well qualified finance manager and I’m delighted about his promotion,” said Asta CEO Julian Tighe.
“His smooth handover from Anthony is testament to Asta’s belief that, by developing a committed pool of senior staff through effective succession planning, our clients can have confidence in the ongoing quality of service we provide to them,” he added.
