Global insurance giant
Aon has appointed a new chief of its UK broking arm in the person of Julie Page, who returned to the company last year from rival firm
Marsh.
Page will take over as CEO of
Aon Risk Solutions (ARS) in the UK on April 1. She will replace Andrew Tunnicliffe, who will keep a part-time role to ensure a smooth transition.
Page said she is “extremely proud” to lead the business as it continues to “innovate on behalf of clients.”
Page started her career at Aon but she later moved to Marsh where she worked for nearly 10 years. Most recently, she served as CEO of the company’s commercial and consumer division.
In 2016, Page re-joined Aon as managing editor to lead the national ARS business across 16 offices in the UK.
“Julie’s experience and proven leadership ability will enable our risk solutions business in the UK to create even greater value for our clients,” said John Cullen, Aon Risk Solutions CEO for EMEA.
Page is active across the industry, serving as a board director for the British Insurance Brokers Association (BIBA). She also advocates diversity and inclusion in the industry through her participation on the Inclusion@Lloyds and Dive-In Festival committees.
