Allianz Insurance plc is celebrating after being awarded chartered insurer status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (
CII), making it the largest chartered firm in the UK insurance market.
The CII awards chartered status to an organization if it demonstrates commitment to the technical excellence of its personnel. A statement from Allianz outlines that the company takes pride in this status as it shows customers, brokers, and corporate partners that Allianz meets the highest standards of expertise and professionalism in the industry.
CII chief executive Sian Fisher said: “Chartered Insurers such as Allianz set the benchmark for excellence in our profession, and will continue to play an important role in inspiring confidence and trust in the power of professional standards.”
“It’s an honour to be recognised in this way by the world’s largest professional body,” added Jon Dye, CEO of Allianz Insurance UK. “This achievement reflects our long-term commitment to the training and development of our people and the importance of technical excellence and the highest ethical standards, right across the business.”
