A few insurers have been nominated for the IBM New Zealand’s Best Workplaces Survey and Awards 2017.
Partners Life and
Rothbury Insurance Brokers made it to the list of finalists in the medium-large workplace (150-399 employees) category, while
AA Insurance and
FMG were nominated for the best large workplace (400-749 employees) category.
The awards, New Zealand's largest and longest-running study of workplace climate and employee engagement, aim to identify rising engagement and focus on employee wellbeing.
This year more than 35,000 employees from 173 organisations in the private and public sectors participated, including 27 first-time contestants.
“IBM would like to congratulate all finalists for their success in creating more engaging, healthy, and ultimately productive workplaces,” Emma Martin, IBM talent management solutions consultant said. “The ongoing commitment to building a great workplace is shown by the number of repeat finalists and is also evident in the survey results.”
IBM said the three key trends apparent in this year’s data relate to employee well-being, career mobility and employer attitudes to continuous listening.
Now in its 18
th year, the IBM Best Workplaces Survey also provides business leaders with key insights from their most valuable assets: their people. The insights identify the characteristics that make their workplace great places to work, as well as areas to improve in order to improve employee engagement.
The category and league award winners will be named on Jan. 31, and the awards will be held Auckland on Feb. 28.
