The insurance club known for unequivocally barring golf and strippers has announced that it is time for insurance professionals, including men, to clear out their wardrobes for a worthy cause.
This call to jettison is in support of the Not the Boys Club charity event in aid of Dress for Success Auckland.
The event will be held on 27 July at
Delta Insurance’s premises (level 8, 57 Fort St) at 5pm. Entry is $10 and includes drinks and nibbles.
Payment can be made into the NTBC bank account” number 38-9018-0719321-00,” said the spokesperson. “All that is required is a name and DFSA as the reference number.”
Last time the NTBC ran a Dress for Success event there were some envious glances and covetous looks at all the gorgeous items, many of them coming from the committee itself.
So this time the NTBC is graciously permitting all participants to purchase donated clothes on the night, with funds raised going to Dress for Success.
“So bring cash on the night for the opportunity to raid the wardrobe of some of the best-dressed women in insurance,” says the spokesperson. “Come with your unwanted clothes, and leave with some serious bargains and hopefully a few new friends.
“We want this to be a fun night for all, so please forward this to anyone in your organisation who might like to come along, or might have clothes to donate, or just anyone who loves a bargain!”
The spokesperson said the NTBC is requesting that its members and friends drop off any unwanted corporate clothing at Delta’s offices prior to event or to pass them on to the committee.
“Be sure to RSVP to this invite and specify whoever else is attending so that we can make sure to be well stocked on food and drink,” concluded the spokesperson.
