ANZIIF has signed an agreement with the Association of Indonesian Qualified Insurance and Reinsurance Brokers (APARI) that will see APARI graduates recognised as eligible to apply for various levels of
ANZIIF membership.
According to ANZIIF, APARI graduates, who are qualified at either AAPAI, APAI or CIIB levels and have the required level of industry experience, will be eligible to apply for ANZIIF affiliate, associate or senior associate membership.
The ANZIIF membership includes: access to lifelong learning opportunities including ANZIIF’s online learning centre, which includes 1,500-plus articles and interactive activities; a subscription to ANZIIF’s quarterly insurance publication, The Journal; access to a large community of industry professionals from across the globe; and the use of ANZIIF designation, which provides international industry recognition.
Similarly, ANZIIF graduates from the ANZIIF foundation certificate in insurance, ANZIIF professional certificate in insurance and AQF diploma of insurance broking, and ANZIIF executive certificate in general insurance broking are eligible to apply for APARI’s AAPAI or APAI level of membership.
The agreement was a step forward for ANZIIF and its industry collaboration and partnership-based approach, ANZIIF chief executive officer
Prue Willsford said.
“At the cornerstone of any industry’s growth, professionalism and value is education, and we hope this partnership will bring a high level of education and opportunity to both ANZIIF and APARI members through membership, continuous development and learning opportunities,” Willsford said.
APARI chairman Bambang Suseno said the association is proud to be partnering with ANZIIF, as the “mutual recognition supports the promising growth of the Indonesian insurance market.”
“It’s time for APARI to raise the bar, with the support of ANZIIF,” Suseno said.
