Education provider Kaplan Professional has announced that it has expanded its insurance offering to include diplomas in insurance broking and general insurance.
The two new courses join Kaplan’s Certificate IV and Tier 1 qualifications in its insurance suite.
Both diplomas are aimed at new entrants and those already within the industry and can be completed online.

Brian Knight, Kaplan Professional CEO, said that the new courses follow extensive consultation with the industry and offer a new approach to learning.
“Consulting the industry and our clients at all stages of development has allowed us to really focus on what the industry needs from an education perspective as it continues to evolve,” Knight said.
“It has allowed us to centre on practical and relevant learning outcomes that individuals can immediately apply directly to their current and future career roles.”
Kaplan Professional launched into the insurance education arena two years ago and Knight noted that this expansion has been on the agenda for the firm for some time.
