Starting Jan. 1, icare will implement its new claims model to improve the claims experience of injured workers and their employers. And to help people better understand the new scheme, the social insurer has begun a series of webinars.
Employers, workers, industry bodies, and brokers who want to ask questions about the new scheme all have the opportunity to take part in the webinar, with the next one scheduled on Dec. 13. Recordings of the webinars, meanwhile, can be accessed on the insurer's website.
So far, the videos posted on the site tackle questions about lodgement, triage, liability, and approvals; service expectations and key contacts; and systems, reporting, and access to other information and other stakeholders.
