A new firm has taken on the role as claims manager for icare's safety net insurance scheme, Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF).
icare has appointed
Gallagher Bassett (GB) as the new HBCF claims manager, tasked to provide claims assessment, management, and payment services to NSW homeowners. The appointment comes at a time when icare HBCF is undergoing a series of transformations.

icare HBCF general manager Jon East said icare HBCF is excited to be working with GB to deliver high quality and consistent claims services to NSW homeowners.
“Both icare and Gallagher Bassett are aligned in their customer-centric mindset and as such, we will be working together to co-design and create enhanced services for NSW homeowners,” he said.
GB commenced its new role last week, and will be contacting existing claimants to transition claims from previous providers.
