IAG has announced that one of its board directors will soon step down from her position after almost five years of service.
Alison Deans, who joined the IAG board in 2013, has advised of her intention to retire from her role as non-executive director following the annual general meeting, which will be held on Oct. 20.
Deans has served on the company's audit committee, people and remuneration committee, and nomination committee; and with her retirement, will be able to rebalance her board portfolio.

“I thank Alison for her dedicated service and contribution to IAG through her experience with the digital economy, and wish her well for the future,” said IAG chairman Elizabeth Bryan.
In a statement, the company said that as part of its ongoing board renewal process, it is working to identify new skilled and experienced directors to oversee the company's future growth.
