In order to assist the delivery of end-to-end claims services in response to the category four Tropical Cyclone Debbie that hit Queensland and NSW in late March,
Gallagher Bassett has doubled the size of its Brisbane-based catastrophe response team.
Damien Gilhooley, GM of GB’s recently launched catastrophe response division, commented on his team’s response to Cyclone Debbie: “Gallagher Bassett is the only dedicated claims organisation with the proven experience, scalability, corporate governance, and infrastructure to be able to rapidly deploy a full scale operational claims management solution within weeks.”
Australasia’s largest and longest-running third party claims administrator has lent its assistance to Australian clients since 1997, rapidly deploying claims teams to respond to peak loads and catastrophic situations.
