“Peter is well placed to combine his operational and strategic skills to assist in the ongoing development of general insurance and broadening of our speciality market products,” John McNamara, Gallagher Bassett’s managing director of Australia, said.
In Gilhooley’s new role he will provide dedicated claims management services to clients in catastrophe situations.
Tomkins joined Gallagher Bassett over 12 months ago as a business development manager for insurance carrier strategies at the firm’s Sydney office.
Tomkins has relocated to Brisbane for his new role.
