Friendsurance has announced that it will sponsor a charity bike ride in Victoria as the insurtech firm gears up to launch.
The insurtech firm, which is set to launch soon in Australia, is the official naming partner of the Ride Daylesford event which will raise money for Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA).

The event, which features three courses of 33km, 63km or 146km, will ride through the Victorian countryside and
Perry Abbott, CEO of Friendsurance Australia, said it mirrors the social nature of the platform.
“Cycling is a natural fit for us,” Abbott said. “Friendsurance is all about making insurance social again.”
Rozalee Erceg, head of development, fundraising and events at BCNA, said that with more than 17,000 Australians set to be diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 alone, the “partnership with Friendsurance Ride Daylesford is a unique opportunity for partners, family and friends along with corporate teams and cycling enthusiasts to help raise funds to support Australians affected by breast cancer.”
Entries for the event are now open and the ride will take place on October 28.
