There has been some exciting career progression for one of
Axis Underwriting’s rising stars.
Emily Walker, who has been with the firm since 2011, and is credited with playing a “fundamental role in the growth of the organisation,” has been promoted to the newly created role of national development manager.
Walker, who is currently manager for the New South Wales region, is set to take on responsibility for developing broker relationships on a national basis. This will include key partnerships, networks and cluster groups – all of which are seen as vital for the Axis business. She will also be involved with coordinating development activities such as exhibiting at conferences and underwriting expos.
She will move into her new role when a replacement is found for her current position.
