A crackdown into a Sydney car insurance fraud that is driving up CTP prices for NSW motorists has led detectives to a 24-year-old alleged fraudster.
The man is the 13th person to have been charged by Strike Force Ravens, which was set up last August to investigate syndicates targeting the compulsory third-party insurance scheme.

The Sydney man faces 12 counts of fraud for allegedly staging a car crash in Liverpool in May 2015 in order to cash out $1.1 million in insurance claims,
AAP reported.
The man was granted conditional bail and is set to appear in Liverpool Local Court on Sept. 13.
To date, the detectives have uncovered a total of more than $11 million worth of alleged frauds and laid more than 100 charges.
