International reinsurer PartnerRe has hired Jörg Bruniecki as head of global client & broker management.
In the role, Bruniecki will be responsible for PartnerRe providing multinational clients with a cohesive response to their needs, as well as managing the company’s key broker relationships. He will also help in rolling out a consistent and client-focused approach across the organization. He will report to Charles Goldie, a member of the group executive committee.
A former head of corporate client and channel management at
Munich Re, Bruniecki managed various aspects of client relations, developed sales capabilities worldwide, and developed business for the company’s non-life division in central eastern and southern Europe.
He began his career as a property underwriter at
Generali Lloyd Versicherung AG, before moving to Munich Re in 2001. He obtained a diploma in Economics and Accounting from the University of Cooperative Education in Stuttgart and graduated from the Horst K. Jannott scholarship program in cooperation with the Georgia State University, Atlanta.
