The Office of the Commissioner of Insurance released a warning on Friday, notifying the public about a fraudulent website - chinawea.cn - that allegedly pretends to be an official page of several insurers.

Hong Kong’s regulatory agency for the insurance industry said that the fraud website tried to pass itself off as the official website of the following firms: AXA China Region Insurance Company (Bermuda), AXA China Region Insurance Company, AXA Corporate Solutions Assurance, AXA General Insurance Hong Kong, AXA Life Insurance Company, and AXA Wealth Management (HK) all, (objectively referred to as ‘AXA HK’). AXA HK has confirmed that it has no connection with the fraudulent website.
