International insurer Chubb has made a couple of appointments for its Asia-Pacific property & casualty division, naming Michael Frazer as head of property and Michael Peacock as head of energy and power.

New head of property Frazer will be replacing Jason Keen, who was recently promoted as regional head of property & casualty for Asia-Pacific. Most recently, he was head of energy and technical lines for Chubb Asia-Pacific, a post he held since 2012.

In his new role, Frazer will still be based in Singapore and will report to Keen. He has over 15 years’ experience in property, energy, and engineering underwriting, having joined legacy ACE in 1999.

Prior to this appointment, Peacock was energy and technical lines manager for Australia and New Zealand, appointed to the post in 2012. In his new capacity, he will also be in charge of the inland transit portfolio. He will relocate from Sydney to Singapore, with Steve Hanna taking over in Australia.

Peacock is a veteran underwriter, having held various leadership and underwriting roles for both government and private organizations.

Keen commented on the appointments, saying: “This succession plan shows the depth of talent we have at Chubb as we develop our people to meet the evolving business needs across our network. Michael, Mick and Steve have proven leadership, professionalism and demonstrated success which will serve us well as we continue to seize the many growth opportunities the region offers.”
